Black Box Parenting Program

Black Box Parenting Program

Thou-Walla Family Centre are offering a Black Box Parenting Program. The Parenting Program has been specifically developed for the challenges parents and carers face after a disruption in family life due to loss, family breakdown or family violence.

It covers topics such as: predictability, relationships, how the past affects the present, managing behaviour and looking after yourself.

The course will include individual pre-group session, group sessions for parents and carers and an individual catch up session in the off week.

Bookings essential.

Course Information

Location: Thou-Walla Centre Family Centre. In Irrawang School, Geer Street, Raymond Terrace.

Start Date: Wednesday February 5th.

Free TAFE Course at Thou Walla

Learn the fun in learning!

Thou-Walla Family Centre are offering a free TAFE course that supports children’s learning. It will develop your awareness of learning styles and building the skills and confidence to work with your strengths.

This program is for learners who are interested in developing skills & knowledge in supporting learning for all ages.

Develop your confidence and awareness of learning styles through a variety of activities. You will identify your strengths and develop a learning plan for further training and opportunities.

Come along to learn more. Our next information session is at Thou Walla on Friday 6th December at 9.30am.

Course Information

Location: Thou-Walla Centre Irrawang Public School.

Start Date: Friday 7th February 9.30am for 9 weeks.
